Keeping God In Everything We Do!

Please continue to encourage your children to read! This will be very important to them someday when they go to high school and attend college. It has been proven that children who read have great vocabularies and excel academically when they go off to college. 45 AR points due by May 15.

Monday, April 14

Spelling: Chapter 14. Book is due on Friday, April 18 so pace yourself. Test is also on Friday.

English: Review Lesson 1-3 in class. Begin Lesson 4, Comparing with Adverbs. Assign: Pg. 209, Write Director’s Notes

Literature: We continue to read The Cay

Reading: Read for 30 minutes every night this week . It is your decision if you do well or not. You earn grades!

Tuesday, April 15

English: Lesson 5, Negatives. Assign: pg. 212, Write a journal entry. Test over Unit 4 on Friday, April 18.

Literature: Continue to read The Cay

Wednesday, April 16

English: Adjective or Adverb? Assign: pg. 215, Write an Advice Column

Literature: Continue to read The Cay

Thursday, April 17 - Principal’s Award recipients will go to Dairy Queen today with Mrs. Jessen.

Spelling: Test over Unit 14 tomorrow. Completed spelling book is also due tomorrow!

English: Test tomorrow on Unit 4. Review in class over all 6 lessons. Students will have an opportunity to write notes and use them on the test.

Literature: Continue to read The Cay

Friday, April 18 – Middle School Dance 7:00-11:00, Bring chips, a dip, soda, some type of snack item.
